The
Dedication
The dedication is a rocking pop 4 piece band based in Los Angeles
consisting of 3 girls and a 1 dude. Their rock, pop, punk fusion is the
brainchild of guitarist/songwriter Brooke de Rosa. Influenced by the
early New York punk scene and 60’s surf pop, the dedication uses catchy
guitar riffs and clever lyrics to add a modern twist to the pop rock
scene. The dedication has been described as Blondie meets Green Day
fused with the pop marketability of Avril Lavigne.
Fronting the band is Alison Menefee whose smooth, ear catching vocals
are only matched by her high octane stage performance. Guitarist and
songwriter Brooke de Rosa is a classically trained opera singer and
pianist who fuses her classical sensibility with mainstream pop. Bassist
Bonnie Allen adds the element of solid grunge bass lines with a sweetly
charming stage presence. Drummer Nate Maas is the luckiest drummer in
rock history, laying down solid rock beats and serving as the foundation
for these 3 lovely ladies.
The dedication has played all over the Los Angeles club scene to a great
response by fans and venues alike. The dedication pride themselves on
being a live performance band with high intensity shows. Having recently
finished their debut EP the dedication plan to continue rocking the West
Coast and beyond!!! Visit their MySpace website

Vanja James
Born and raised in San Diego California, Vanja James is an established
songwriter/singer who has been performing for local audiences with her
acoustic and electric blues/rock stylings since the summer of 2002. With
a well-rounded musical history that includes DJing, classical guitar,
and gospel choir, Vanja got her start in songwriting during her senior
year of college at UCSD (where she majored in theatre) at age 19. It was
in a "Singing for Actors" class that she met her vocal instructor Linda
Vickerman. Linda took Vanja under her wing and taught her Jazz and blues
vocal techniques. Linda introduced Vanja to guitar teacher (and future
co-writing partner) David Beldock. Vanja has returned to David many
times over the years to work together on the guitar arrangements for her
songs, which have now become a trademark part of her bluesy roots sound.
In addition to being a songwriter, Vanja is also very active in the film
community. You can frequently find her collaborating with local
filmmakers. Most recently, Vanja was featured in a film playing her own
music as a songwriter in Wolfgang Hastert's "Something Like This." She
also works regularly with San Diego filmmakers The Page Brothers, and
has had her music featured in a number of their films, from guitar
pieces, to actors singing along with pop-song cameos. Visit her MySpace

Kimberly
Jean
Born in Hillsboro, Oregon, it was almost impossible for Kimberly Jean
not to pursue her dream of a career in music. Both of her parents played
guitar and piano, and were avid country fans, with country music always
being played somewhere in their house. From an early age, she would
listen to the country radio stations, and would sing along with every
song. She counts among her early musical influences such artists as
George Jones, Alan Jackson and Martina McBride. By the time that she
began playing piano and guitar, she had also developed her own vocal
style, along with a talent for writing her own songs. Encouraged by her
family and friends to “go for it”, she moved to Los Angeles, where she
now lives, and after finishing a Bachelors Degree in sports medicine she
is pursuing a professional musical career.
Overwhelmed by over 97,000 plays of her music on her
‘MySpace’ web site ,‘K J’ recently released an independent CD,
titled “My Someday”, which has received great reviews, as well as being
played on Ventura’s country radio station, KHAY. By playing an unsigned
artist so readily and so often, (something virtually unheard of in the
radio world) the station has showed an amazing sign of faith in
Kimberly, distinguishing her as an artist to be watched… a ‘STAR’ in the
making. In fact, not only has her music been played on the radio, but
the DJ’s at KHAY are such big fans, they have had her on the air 5 times
for ‘live’ interviews and acoustic sets, and she has also been featured
on their special, “15 Minutes of Fame”. She has also been played on
other country radio stations around the country, as well as internet
radio stations and fan’s web sites. With KHAY’s support and backing, she
has performed live at countless venues in and around Los Angeles and
Ventura, including BB Kings, The Gig, Universal City Walk, Molly Malones
and The Ventura Theater. Kim has also opened for major recording
artists, including Curb Records legend Hal Ketchum, and Capitol
Nashville Records artist Eric Church. She was voted “Vocalist of the
Month” in the web-magazine “Singer Universe”, received glowing reviews
on iTunes and other websites, won Best Song for “No Boys Allowed” at the
2007 Winery Music Awards, and has started to acquire not only a large
fan base through her energetic live appearances, but interest from
within the music industry, with the ‘buzz’ starting to generate interest
from record labels, agents and management. Visit her website at:

DJ
Dani DiehlWith a
host of EDM industry accolades and positions (among them hosting EDM TV
shows, creative director of an itunes radio show, hosting England's URB
top 10), to a chunky amount of original productions and global tour
spots, Dani Deahl is taking women and dance music to the next level.
With the launch of her new electro/indie label "Calamity Jane" Dani
furthers her commitment to being a positive female role model in the
electronic music community. With all this and rotating residencies in
Chicago at locations like Martini Park, Minibar, Sushi Samba and Saltaus,
it's surprising she even has time to take on production and remix work.
The next year is packed to the brim with projects and events for what is
soon to be the next "It" girl. Never before has there been such a young,
hot, female talent that has so quickly risen and dominated the dance
scene on so many levels.
