With an all star cast that includes Steve Guttenberg, Judy Gold and Gilbert Gottfried “The Other F Word” was released on the Amazon Video Direct platform over a year ago and was a top series for several months.  The show has been streamed daily since its launch, has reached over 1 M unique visitors and is profitable.

Denise Carlson (Moderator)

Denise Carlson is a producer and development executive with 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Under her D’veloping Pictures banner Denise made the movie BAD HAIR DAY, which premiered on Disney Channel in February of 2015.  She is currently developing CROSSING THE SAGAMORE, WAKE UP LITTLE SUSIE, and WEDDING’S EVE, among others.  She is also developing the series UNCHAINED with Ted Kotcheff.  Denise was at Disney Channel for nine years as the Director of Original Movies, responsible for overseeing the development and production of 47 television movies, including the megahit HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, as well as other highly successful films such as WENDY WU and THE CHEETAH GIRLS movies. Currently Denise also teaches producing at the New York Film Academy’s Los Angeles campus, and she is proud to be a member of the LA Femme board.

CAYTHA JENTIS – Creator, Writer/Producer

Caytha Jentis is an award winning independent filmmaker. Her features include “Bad Parents” starring Janeane Garofalo, Cheri Oteri and Christopher Titus (Cinedigm), “And Then Came Love” starring Vanessa Williams, Eartha Kitt and Anna Camp (Warner Bros) and “The One” starring Jon Prescott (TLA Releasing).. Her current project “The Other F Word” is a web series that streams on Amazon. A former literary agent, she has also has an extensive background in sales including a stint at the Bergen Record in internet ad sales. Jentis was recently selected as one of Good Housekeeping magazine’s 50 over 50. She earned an M.F.A. from UCLA in screenwriting and a B.S. in TV/film from Syracuse University. She is a member of the Producers Guild, Writer’s Guild and NYWIFT.

 

BARBARA KANOWITZ – DIRECTOR, Season Two

Barbara is an award-winning producer and director. She has directed dozens of national and regional commercials for clients including: Nestle, Maxwell House, Dove, and Mazda. She has directed numerous network campaigns for network and cable.

She has directed single camera comedy specials for Comedy Central featuring Caroline Rhea, Jim Breuer and Paul Provenza. She has also directed episodes of The Adventures of Pete and Pete for Nickelodeon.

She has just completed producing and directing the second season of Take Me To Your Mother, a comedic documentary series-featuring comic Andrea Rosen; it is running on Nickelodeon’s NickMom channel.

Barbara is an Emmy nominated director and Clio Award recipient, International Monitor Award recipient and Houston TV Festival Gold Camera Award recipient.

 

STEPHANIE LITTLE – ACTRESS

At seventeen, Philadelphia native Stephanie Little moved to Los Angeles. She spent several years studying at The Groundlings Theater and School. In conjunction with improv training, Stephanie attended private scene study with Howard Fine, Anthony Meindl, Lesley Kahn and a summer intensive program at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Stephanie has written several features and her short film, stUck has screened at festivals including the New York International Film Festival, Brooklyn Short Film festival and Holly Shorts monthly screening series. She created and co-wrote, KILLING THE apologetic GIRL which can currently be seen on Funny or Die and recently finished filming season two of The Other F Word. Stephanie can be seen next in a supporting role with Melissa Leo in her upcoming film, Furlough and as the wife of Christopher Stanley (Mad Men) in the Scott Adsit (30 Rock) directed digital series KICK starring James Pickens Jr. (Grey’s Anatomy) and Lucy Davis (The Office UK, Wonder Woman). After wrapping the comedic short she produced, Someone You Know, Stephanie will be directing her short project, The Small, in New York City where she currently resides.

CHRIS JANNEY – PRODUCER, Season Two

Chris graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics and History in 2012. After school, he worked in Asset Wealth Management at Deutsche Bank, based out of the company’s New York office. Having wanted to pursue a career that combined film and finance, Chris left Deutsche Bank in 2015 to work as a producer. Aside from The Other F Word, Chris currently has the short, A Girl Like Anna, in post production, along with two short scripts in development. In addition to narrative filmmaking, Chris and a colleague from UCLA founded Ansel in late 2015, a startup that provides low-cost online editing solutions to individuals and companies.
